Poly Tanks

Our Slimline and Cylindrical range of poly tanks are strong, light and maintenance-free. The tanks are made from food grade, UV Stabilised polyethylene, using only premium quality Australian materials for Australian conditions. All materials conform to AS 2070 and Water Standards AS 4020. The quality is second to none.

The tanks are manufactured using an environmentally friendly process and can be recycled. Brass fittings are used and are installed in the factory under controlled conditions . . . no leaks!

• No vertical join lines, offering extra strength and virtually eliminating the thin spots that can occur in some other designs.

These are our Dalby range. They are of excellent quality and are designed specifically for the home and on the land. They are tough and durable, as well as practical and affordable. Each tank carries a 25 year manufacturer's warranty - a full "fix or replace" guarantee.

The range on offer is almost endless. We have traditional water tanks, flat back wall tanks, underground water tanks (including molasses), water and molasses cartage tanks, chemical spray tanks, molasses tanks, troughs, cup & saucers, and silos. The range also extends to dog kennels and planter boxes. We've even got an all purpose "Tunnelcat" boat utilising Poly Tunnel Hull technology to ensure brilliant handling and a smooth ride!

All our quotations include the freight and crane if applicable, the excavation for the tank and a load of water. Of course, if you'd prefer to provide the excavation service yourself, that's OK - we'll give you a drawing showing the size of the hole to be excavated, the amount of bedding sand you'll need, etc. Don't forget to check out our Water Pump range too!

Benefits of concrete tanks over tanks made of other materials

• Concrete is comprised of relatively environmentally friendly materials.
• Concrete tanks can be buried underground 90-100%, and being underground provides several benefits:
  • it helps to keep the water cool (think about Coober Pedy!) making it much nicer to drink;
  • because the water in the tank is cool, algae growth is virtually eliminated (algae do not like the cold);
  • the algae growth having been eliminated, you will experience less problems with your pumps and valves (that's money in your pocket);
  • the visual impact of buried tanks on your property can be as little as 100mm (that's the lid) above ground.
• Concrete tanks are hard-wearing and long-lived. Provided the tank is supported in the ground by a sound excavation, you will get many years of useful life from it.
